Abstract

Basically, Higher Education is a formal institution that is considered a source of knowledge. The development of demands in higher education in this case is not only to print or produce a graduate that is measured academically. Rather, the whole higher education program must be able to prove the quality of higher education and must be able to prove high quality which is supported by high performance and accountability. Quality assurance involves the systematic review of educational programs and processes to maintain and improve the quality, equity and efficiency of an educational institution. While the design of quality assurance mechanisms (tools, processes and actors) varies, the general goal remains the same, namely to improve teaching and learning with the ultimate goal of supporting the best possible outcomes for learners. In this case, to improve the performance of the department, especially in the Communication Science study program at STAHN MPU Kuturan, every semester an evaluation of the lecturer's performance in terms of learning will be carried out. This evaluation is carried out within the scope of the presence of teaching lecturers, student attendance, achievement of lecture material, and evaluation of lecturers by students (EDOM). Evaluation of this study program is carried out in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year.
