Abstract

Higher education is the highest institution in the world of education after taking Elementary School (SD), Junior High School (SMP), High School or Vocational High School (SMK). Quality management in higher education must be considered properly. The Higher Education Quality Assurance System is often abbreviated as SPM Dikti. The Higher Education Quality Assurance System is used to improve the quality of higher education. This can be done in a planned and sustainable manner, both in the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) and the External Quality Assurance System (SPME). Quality management includes planning, implementing, controlling, and supervising all work activities that must be completed to maintain the quality of higher education. The improvement of the higher education quality assurance system can be done through the implementation of integrated quality management in education. The problem of the quality of education in Indonesia is inseparable from the existence of internal and external challenges. Therefore, it is important to have a study of 1) Higher Education Quality Assurance System, 2) Efforts to Improve Higher Education Quality Assurance System, 3) Implementation of Integrated Quality Management in Education. The goal is to provide comfortable services in learning activities, improve the intelligence of the life of the nation's next generation.
