PARADIGMA PENDIDIKAN ABAB 21 DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 (TANTANGAN DAN SOLUSI)

Abstract

The 21st century is fundamentally a century that refers to globalization and advances in information technology, which encourages humans to become more qualified through the field of education so as to produce hybrid or superior results. 21st century education can be interpreted as an educational system that requires humans to welcome and uphold advances in information and communication technology in social life. The era of the 21st century has not been completely smooth in increasing the level of education towards digital. 21st era education which is now disrupted by the spread of the Covid 19 virus that has occurred to all corners of the world.

To produce valid and reliable data, this study uses qualitative research methods, using qualitative descriptive analysis. To produce logical, objective and empirical research, several steps are taken, among others: 1). Reducing data, 2). Display data, and 3). Verify data and interpret research data. In addition, to get a comprehensive, clear and complete description of the research, the researchers used a literature study by entering keywords on google.scholar.com and various other literature to support the reference of this journal.

The 21st century education paradigm seems complex due to the presence of the Covid 19 outbreak in various countries, especially in Indonesia. This reality disrupts the education system and loses its relevance. Educational activities that were initially carried out face-to-face turned into distance learning activities or online, resulting in various challenges and obstacles in learning activities. These challenges are in the form of unstable internet connections and a lack of online education platforms for the community due to financial limitations. For this reason, the concrete solution to this problem lies in the government's policy as the center of regulation, by providing assistance in the form of an educational platform, ensuring a stable and smooth internet connection, and allocating special funds to support education.
