THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CURRICULUM 2013 IN THE POSTMODERNISM PERSPECTIVE

The critique of postmodernism over the situation of modern society is actually also a
criticism of the educational process that merely puts forward an aspect of the total value of
human beings. The relevance of learning, namely the curriculum 2013 is identical to thematic
learning more emphasis on the application of the concept of learning to do something (learning
by doing). The views of postmodernism can have a practical effect on pedagogy. This is evidenced
by
the
direct
implications
of
the
views
of
postmodernism
that
human
beings
on
the
form
of
reality
in
accordance
with
their
needs,
interests,
prejudices
and
cultural
traditions.
As
well
as
the
education
is
not
solely
the
responsibility
of
the
school
but
also
it
involves
the
role
of
the
society
in
education.
So
that,
the
existence
of
the
curriculum
2013
is
a
form
of
postmodernism,
although
its
implementation
still
seems
confusing
and
full
of
pros
and
cons
due
to
lack
of
readiness
of
every
element
involved.
The
implementation
of
this
curriculum
is
something
new,
it
is
necessary

to continue to be socialized and cooperate between the school, guardian’s of the
student, and society.
