This research aims to comprehensively understand that uncertainty can be positioned as a catalyst for the production of knowledge that is reflective, critical, and emancipatory. This research explains the implications of uncertainty on various dimensions and the possible responses given to uncertain conditions, as caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, it is also about the correlation of uncertainty with the construction of proper religious understanding in the post-pandemic era. In achieving this understanding, this research refers to a qualitative research model on actual problems and with a philosophical approach that refers to epistemology. The result of this research is a reflective understanding in response to the uncertain conditions after the Covid-19 pandemic which includes philosophical and practical responses. Both responses can be said to be appropriate if based on a framework of understanding and religious beliefs and science that are not fatalistic and dichotomous but proportional and integral.
