Tradisi Pesantren: Pembacaan Asmaul Husna Di Pondok Pesantren Al-Munawwir K3 Arofah Sebagai Upaya Santri Dalam Kemudahan Memahami Pelajaran

The tradition of reading Asmaul Husna is part of the religious tradition in Islamic boarding schools. Reading Asmaul Husna is a suggestion from religion to practice in everyday life, one of which is the Pesantren Al-Munawwir Komplek K3 Arofah practicing this tradition. The tradition of reading Asmaul Husna Krapyak is a tradition that has normative values according to Islamic teachings based on the Al-Quran and Hadith and also has history. Not only that, the practice of this tradition certainly has other purposes and interests from its practice. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the motives and goals of the students to practice the tradition of reading Asmaul Husna Krapyak. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method using Max Weber's social action theory as an analytical tool to describe the purpose of the reading Asmaul Husna Krapyak tradition by students. The results of this study indicate that students who practice this tradition are not only normative, and continue existing traditions, but have other goals and motivations, namely peace of mind, blessing and especially to be given ease in understanding lessons both at Islamic boarding schools and in lectures.
